OUR HOUSE STORYTELLER  KAT DAMEWORTH
Kat Dameworth visited the Summerdale Library for our June 9th Reading Program.  She and the children wrote a short story together, listed below, and she provided many interesting arts and crafts for the children. Mrs. Ida Peebles brought homemade chocolate chip cookies and juice for refreshments.
"THE WORLD CALLED GALAXY"
by the Summerdale Library Kids
On the world called Galaxy things were about to change. Something bad was about to happen. Aliens were taking over the world!!! Everybody panicked. They knocked down buildings. So we prepared our water guns. Then we attacked the googly-eyed aliens. And we still ruled the Galaxy. But the aliens came back. We wanted to defeat the aliens because they are princesses. So we caught them and tied them up. We took out our water pistols. We shot them dead. Then we had a meteor shower of pepper jack cheese. So we tied the aliens up and went shopping. The aliens ran away. So we found them and destroyed them. So we went to Summer Scoops and got a banana split. The aliens escaped again. So we sliced their head off and they grew 10 more heads back. Then they flew away in a spaceship and went to a different planet. But they were hit by a giant pepper jack cheese meteor. So the ship was destroyed.
