The Summerdale Puppets The Summerdale
Puppets provided entertainment for our June 16th Reading Program. Mr. Neal Toivonen showed the children how to make intarsia,
a form of wood inlaying, and brought many beautiful examples of his work. Our featured storyteller was Sara Thompson, "Mrs.
T". For crafts Miranda Clark and Eric Wood demonstrated and helped the children make origami pinwheels. The children
enjoyed frosted oatmeal and chocolate chip cookies and juice.
