Summer Reading Program Grand Finale at
 Summerdale Public Library
The Summerdale Public Library held it's final summer reading program Tuesday, June 30th, from 10:00 to 1:00 with a variety of arts & crafts. Local artist Jim Ponder demonstrated how to paint on canvas with acrylic paints to the 9 year olds and older while the 8 years olds and younger painted sun catchers. Everyone also created their own design using sand art and bottles and prepared their own personal pizzas with tortillas, marinara, cheese and pepperoni. We then walked to the Splash Park where everyone enjoyed the cool sprays of water and received goody bags and reading certificates. Our top reader was Molly Deese followed by Matthew French and Catherine French.
